Die-hard true crime fan? Check out DIE-alogue.

Today's recommendation is a different type of true crime podcast. Different, but worth every minute of your brain time!

The podcast is called "DIE-alogue: a true crime conversation". Right away, the name caught my attention as it mirrored my blog title in its use of a pun and focus on true crime! Hosted by Rebekah Sabastian, she aims to "kill the small talk" by engaging in conversations, or "die-alogues", with all different people who have either personal or professional (or both) experience with true crime. Some of these suspect matter experts (you'll notice a few wordplay examples of my own throughout this recommendation in italics) are survivors of crimes and cults, other true crime podcasters, authors, producers, advocates, relatives and friends of victims of crimes, lawyers, detectives, FBI agents, and Rebekah herself.

Unlike other some other true crime podcasts, DIE-alogue does not focus on a criminal case each week or for the whole season, but rather seeks to learn more about the system, crimes, and experiences of those involved, by getting to the WHY through can-dead conversations. These are similar to the interviews on Neurolawgical posted occasionally on Thursdays.

DIE-alogue's Rebekah has made appearances at CrimeCon, True Crime Podcast Festival, Good Morning America, and Oxygen.com. How doggone into the topic of true crime is she? Her pup at home is named Sherlock!

In a recent episode that I listened to, she interviewed a former police detective, polygraphy expert, and true crime podcaster, Woody Overton (Episode 34, air-date 3/11/2020). She also interviews Mr. Overton's podcast co-host in a later episode (Episode 44). Both are hosts of the podcast, Real Life, Real Crime. Not only does DIE-alogue get down into the information you all crave, but it also introduces you to other great true crime podcasts! Rebekah does an awesome job getting out the information, having fun along the way, but maintaining a compassionate level of sensitivity toward those who have been deeply impacted by acts of crime.

Rebekah also hosts a show titled "Yellow Tape" which is a true crime trivia experience that people can buy tickets to or, attend virtually. Some of the proceeds benefit The Innocence Project.

Please check out DIE-alogue wherever you get your podcasts, such as iTunes, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Spotify. I personally use Spotify to listen, which is great because you can "follow" (from a safe distance) DIE-alogue so that you never miss out on an episode.

I hope that you all will be guilty of subscribing to DIE-alogue...I can't think of a reasonable doubt why you wouldn't!

For more information on both DIE-alogue and Yellow Tape, head over to https://www.rebekahsebastian.com/. You'll also find them both on sociopath-al media.

Thank you as always for reading and please subscribe to my blog website, where you can also find links to Neurolawgical's Facebook and Instagram pages. Perhaps, in the future, you'll hear me on an episode of DIE-alogue! (a not so secret wish...)
